A while ago I bought the Izhmash / Baikal 141 Sobol ( or Соболь, which means Sable or „Zobel“ in german l ), a small-bore rifle in .22lr
My plan is to use this little Baikal for precision shooting „ZG50“ (BR25 target at 50m, 25shots)
Detailed pictures as well as more facts on that really cool Biathlon styled rifle will follow up in the near future.

The distance was at 50meters (indoor), the rifle was supported on the fore-end, 10 shots on each target, aiming at the pink dot, sitting shooting position. (the scope was not adjusted during the whole session)
Baikal 141 Sable – 1st shots resumee
My picks from this first ammunition test would be the Lapua X-Act and the ELEY Club.
But because the X-Act is a lot more expensiv than the Eley, so my choice at the moment will be the Eley Club.
The ELEY high velocity hollow point had also a good performance, but, if possible, I prefer ammunition in standard velocity for my manual action guns.
